30 car tandem

Check out one of the craziest videos we have seen in Japan thanks to Rob Riter. He was able to witness this event in person and said it was over 30 cars on track at one time. The white S15 you see flying by is Kawabata and the lead car is Nakamura of Team Burst. Don’t miss this one.

I wish we could all get together here in the states and do this.  This is the way it should be done……Start building your “Missile car”….I am!!!!!!!

Driftwater4 was a success

After a 4 month layoff from drifting due to my full time job.  I finally was about to take the newly rebuilt coupe out for a spin.  The first part of the morning I had to take the intake mani off to fix a tiny coolant leak coming from the turbo inlet hose.  People where standing around me thinking I was crazy.  I took the exhuast down, manifold off the car in less than an hour, took lunch, then put it back together to enjoy the rest of the day.  Well it tunred out great.  Here is a small video off how I did at drift water 4

Not Good…VIR aftermath!!!!

Well VIR was a complete disaster for a lot of people including RE_spec Garage. My boost controller decided it was time to boost to infinity and I ended up with a rod knock. I will be pulling out the engine in the next few days to investigate the damage. The RAZS14 also did not fair well. A bend valve on the #4cylinder intake side kept the car from coming off the trailor. We plan to have both cars running perfect for the next event……stay tuned
